Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive

We highly recommend a trip to Lake Apopka North Shore.The Wildlife Drive is a one way, 11 mile drive which winds through the eastern section of the property. It’s amazing to see real Florida gators and other species in their natural habitat undisturbed. Yesterday when we visited, we not only saw 33 gators but also saw countless varieties of the most beautiful birds. We felt super lucky to see so many that we just wanted to share our experience. This is a free attraction with visitors restricted to entry only during the weekends and public holidays.
