Happy Thanksgiving!

It’s been a very busy day for us at Florida Leisure Vacation Homes delivering cookies and pumpkin pies to those guests who took advantage of our recent Facebook offer and we were delighted to welcome back those guests who have previously stayed with us before and those which we hope will return again.

Many of our overseas guest interestingly are not familiar with the Thanksgiving tradition which is an annual national holiday commemorating the first shared Autumn harvest celebrated by the Pilgrims and Wampanoag Indians in 1621. Many Americans now use this day to spend time with their families, remember loved ones who have passed and give thanks for the blessings bestowed upon them. Traditional fare usually involves a Turkey, stuffing, potatoes and cranberry sauce.
